KHAS Psychology Grows with New Academics

Kadir Has University Department of Psychology continues to grow with the addition of Prof. Dr. Adil Sarıbay and Dr. Faculty Member Efe Soyman into our academic staff. We’re happy to introduce our new colleagues to you.

Prof. Dr. Adil Sarıbay received his bachelor’s degree in psychology at Middle East Technical University in 2000, his master’s degree at Bosporus University in 2002, and doctoral degree in the program of Social/Personality Psychology at New York University in 2008. With political psychology and social psychology as primary fields of study, Prof. Sarıbay has won the “Excellent Research Reward” from the Bosporus University Foundation in 2013 and “Young Scientist Award” from the Science Academy in 2018.

Dr. Faculty Member Efe Soyman received his bachelor’s degree in psychology at Bosporus University in 2011, and master’s degree and doctoral degree at the Department of Behavioral and Systematical Neuroscience at Rutgers, State University of New Jersey, respectively in 2015 and 2018. With neuroscience, social cognition and emotions as primary fields of study, Dr. Faculty Member Soyman served as postdoctoral researcher in the Royal Dutch Neuroscience Institute from 2018 to 2020.
